China style Faluda

INGREDIENTS: 1.1 cup china grass(agar agar). 2.1/2 tsp cardamom powder. 3.1/2 cup sugar. 4.1 litre fresh milk. 5.1/2 cup unsweetened condensed milk. Almonds and pistas for garnishing. Food colour of your choice (light colours look best, like pink, pista green, or saffron yellow) Good pinch of saffron. METHOD: Soak china grass in 1/2 cup of water for 2 mins.Cook till all grass melts (not a strand should remain).Add sugar, cardamom powder and fresh milk, simmer on medium heat, stirring continusly, till milk remains half the quantity.Add saffron and condensed milk, mix well and cook for another 2 mins.Remove from fire, add food colour and pour into small bowls,garnish with nuts.Keep in fridge to set. Serve it cold
